Purpose
Shaw Trust are seeking an inquisitive, engaging and analytical Senior Research and Development Partner to join our dynamic Development and PartnershipsTeam within the Commercial Directorate.
The Senior Research and Development Partner will be responsible for managing the Research and Development Team and activities to support individual business area growth plans and Shaw Trust’s overarching 2030 Strategic Directive.
The role involves close collaboration with Business Development, Commercial Partnerships, Operational and other key teams to generate research, intelligence, and innovative delivery models for new business activites including competitive tendering and product development.
The Senior Research and Development Partner will lead more complex projects; developing detailed solutions, resourcing plans and driving Social Value outcomes, whilst ensuring business models remain commercially and operationally viable.

YOU WILL HAVE:

Experience managing others and leading a team to achieve set objectives and targets
Demonstrable ability to analyse commissioner requirements and develop business models and processes to meet them
Excellent communication and presentation skills both verbal and written
A positive leader that drives high standards, promotes professional integrity and is a positive role model to others
