We are currently looking for a (Senior) Research Associate with a background in bioanalytical laboratory work to join our R&D team in our facility in Gent/Zwijnaarde. The ideal candidate should be motivated to produce high-quality results through close collaboration with other members of the project teams. This takes place in a dynamic, informal, and stimulating environment where you and your colleagues collaborate towards achieving our shared objectives.
Work description
Your responsibilities include:
- Support project teams in the development of bioanalytical assays (ELISA, MSD, Gyros platforms) and sample analysis for non-clinical studies.
- Independently planning and conducting experiments, as well as interpreting, reporting, and presenting results.
- Offering creative solutions to unforeseen issues as they arise.
- Actively engaging in project teams, effectively organizing tasks while recognizing and addressing priorities.
- Demonstrating eagerness to acquire new skills and knowledge, and being willing to share expertise with colleagues.
Profile:
- A Master degree in Biomedical Sciences, Master degree in Biochemistry/Biotechnology, Master degree Industrial Engineering or equivalent with approximately 2 years of experience.
- Proficient in essential statistical and data analysis software such as Excel and GraphPad Prism.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with bioanalytical methods, including ELISA or MSD.
- A team player who is enthusiastic and precise in execution and reporting.
- Demonstrates initiative, commitment to quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
