THIS IS A FIXED TERM APPOINTMENT FOR 12 MONTHS

Research and Innovation aims to provide high quality support to LSE’s academics, students and alumni across all stages of the research lifecycle and ensure responsible research practice which complies with relevant regulations and operates with rigour and integrity. The Senior Research Culture Manager will be responsible for overseeing and promoting a healthy research environment. They will review the School’s policies, processes and activities for supporting all areas of research culture, identify gaps and areas for improvement, and support continuous improvement of the research culture for the academic community
The post holder will contribute to the development and implementation of the School’s strategy to foster a more positive, inclusive and supportive research culture for academics and researchers at all career stages, collaborate with colleagues to identify and best practices, and implement activities that promote research culture, including managing events, facilitating brainstorming sessions, and establishing networks.
Candidates should have an understanding of the aims of the higher education sector, particularly in relation to research culture, be able to co-develop initiatives with a wide range of stakeholders to enable positive changes and the ability to develop plans and monitor progress to deliver an effective service.
LSE is a campus-based university and staff are expected to attend the London campus in fulfilling their role. Most staff balance working from the campus or remotely and for this we can role we can offer flexible working patterns, and a blend of on-campus and remote working. We therefore encourage applications from applicants who can regularly travel to the London campus and operate in a hybrid working environment.
