Description:

SENIOR RESEARCH EXECUTIVE

We at Focaldata are on a mission to close the knowledge gap on public opinion. Our superstar research team is the cornerstone of achieving this, and now we’re looking to expand the team. This will be a varied role — one day you may be working with some of the largest media or consumer goods companies another day you may be helping a smaller non-for-profit organisation achieve their own mission.

WHO YOU ARE: SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

This role will require someone who already has learned and successfully applied the fundamentals of running quantitative research, but is looking to continue their development by having more ownership. Specifically, you will have:

  • Approximately 2 years of research or market research experience
  • Experience in quantitative research
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects at any given time
  • Keen to work in client service and desire to exceed client expectations
  • The ability to interpret and visualise data
  • Enjoys working in a fast past environment with quick turn around projects

If you feel like you have learned how to run a market research project, but are feeling like you are not seeing the full picture, you want to get more ownership and feed your curiosity and ambition — join us, this is exactly who we’re looking for!

WHO YOU ARE: MINDSET

We are looking for someone who is curious to take on a new challenge and help us to deliver outstanding work to our clients. In order to achieve this the ideal candidate:

  • Is self-driven and wants to learn new skills
  • Enjoys working in a team and challenge people to be their best
  • Takes ownership for their work

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

In this role, you will have the opportunity to own research projects from start to finish and support our clients in navigating the Focaldata platform as part of our self-serve solution. To achieve this you will:

  • Being responsible for the end-to-end delivery of projects and leading client comms — providing updates, answering queries, ensuring clients are happy with their experience of working with Focaldata and getting what they need from their research.
  • Support questionnaire development and scripting up surveys in the Focaldata platform.
  • Managing fieldwork and data quality, using our proprietary tools.
  • Working with quantitative data to support our clients understanding their results and what it means for them.
  • The development of client deliverables, specifically: data tables, and written briefing notes.
  • Engagement and communication with clients with the aim of furthering our relationship and identifying other opportunities for research.
