We’re currently seeking a passionate Senior Research Fellow to join our Melbourne based team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Senior Research Fellow will coordinate a research program focused on gaming and esports’ relationship with mental health outcomes for young men. This includes conducting and commissioning rapid and longitudinal mixed-method research studies. The role combines in-house research with managing external partnerships with academic and industry stakeholders.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU’LL NEED

• Completed Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g. psychology, public health, social sciences) over 3 years ago.
• Strong expertise in designing and conducting masculinities and health research projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong publication record in the field and experience in academic writing of papers, report and successful grant applications.
• Proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, data analysis, and statistical software (e.g. SPSS, R).
• Proven experience in project management, including planning, coordination, and monitoring of research projects.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex research findings to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of ethics and ethical considerations in mental health research.
