The post will underpin our activities in nanoengineered thermofluidics, advanced materials and healthcare technologies. Responsibilities:
The position is based in UCL Mechanical Engineering and specifically the Nanoengineered Systems Laboratory at UCL. The post holder will be part of a large team, including researchers, clinicians, facility and building management experts, infection control experts etc. Post holder will: § Develop and harness various experimental facilities and equipment in NSL and the centres we work in § Have a firm grip on experimental and/or computational techniques used in research on interfacial engineering and nanoengineered systems in general § Mentor and supervise UG/PG taught students and PGR students in accordance with UCL regulations and guidelines § Actively initiate, partake and/or lead on public engagement and patient involvement activities § Have the ability to work flexible hours in order to suit any clinical measurements windows (this will typically be four to six times a year and may involve evening/weekend work)
