WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Toyota’s InfoTech Labs (ITL) Division is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Research scientist. The primary responsibility of this role is to research and develop Connected and Cooperative mobility applications and technologies. The person in this role will support the ITL division’s overall objective

Responsibilities:

  • Development of innovative connected and cooperative automated driving functionalities for path/motion planning, platooning, and predictive control
  • Development of Generative and Foundational AI-based agent systems for connected mobility applications
  • Conduct in-depth analysis, profiling, and optimization of LLM agentic performance and efficiency
  • Leading university research collaboration on Foundational AI Models inference optimization for connected mobility applications
  • Contributing university research collaboration on Generative AI World Models for connected automated driving
  • Contributing to various research projects
  • Regularly report and present to the research team and management
  • Create academic publications and invention disclosures
