Job Description
- Conduct independent research in the field of Cloud Native Security
- Identify new research topics and develop prototypes in one or more fields as mentioned above
- Define use cases and demos to connect novel research ideas with product components
- Bridge academic research and commercial technology development: Collaborate with our application security team and other internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to the global research community: Publish and disseminate research findings in journals, speak and present at conferences
- Actively take part in scientific and industrial cooperation projects
- Guide PhD and master students in their career path
- Assist the lead researcher in defining and prioritizing the research roadmap
Perform novel research in the following fields:
- Threat and attack detection
- Vulnerability and risk analysis
- Security Posture Management (xSPM)
- Kubernetes and container security
- Automated adversary emulation
QUALIFICATIONS
- PhD in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience and/or expertise in at least one of the relevant research topics (as mentioned above)
- Good understanding of cyber and cloud security topics and their impacts on products and customer experience
- Strong publication record (of course in relation to the “academic age")
- Great communication skills when it comes to presenting and discussing research results with stakeholders
- Excellent English skills (oral and written)
