Overview:
The main purpose of the role is to provide excellent customer service delivery through conducting verifications / background screening and reporting results on HireRight systems as well as providing daily support to the team by acting as Subject Matter Expert (SME), ensuring effective tasks allocation and execution to improve performance and service delivery for Clients
Responsibilities:
Senior Researcher’s responsibilities ideally are divided 50/50 between regular Researcher’s job and Senior duties.

Both are the following:

  • Conducts telephone and internet research or run a third party investigation to verify the data provided by job candidates of client companies
  • Analyses findings and creates a report in line with company standards and Client’s SLAs
  • Persistently finds the appropriate source to verify information, including multiple organizations and levels of authority
  • Utilizes available communication channels to stay up to date with procedures and processes and shares knowledge with others
  • Improves performance and quality of the team through conducting coaching and sharing best practices with other Researchers
  • Executes daily allocation and re-allocation of work in close co-operation with Team Leader
  • Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on daily basis and during pre-implementation of changes in operational procedures when needed
  • Looks for continuous improvements through initiating and co-ordinating process changes
  • Acts as an Operational Trainer
  • Conducts efficient on-boarding of the new team members, holds a Buddy role
  • Runs regular reports, both operational efficiency and client related, also other analysis requested by Team Leader or Manager
  • Monitors and improves service delivery quality and performs audits of work in progress and completed
  • May contribute to internal projects by delivering specific tasks, knowledge and expertise
  • May be asked to do other ad-hoc, job related duties
  • Supports efficient communication and cooperation in the team as well as between the team and the rest of organization
  • Can identify solutions to non-standard requests

In emergency (e.g. high volume) the area of responsibilities related to Researchers role might be extended temporarily up to 100% of working time upon decision of Team Leader and Manager

Qualifications:

  • High School
  • Minimum of 1 year experience using HireRight platforms and working in line with standard processes and procedures
  • Coaching skills with technical proficiency
  • Must have expert knowledge of screening techniques, system features and Clients’ requirements
  • Ability to professionally communicate with internal and external customers
  • Ability to adjust quickly to changing business circumstances
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions under time pressure
  • Ability to meet project deadline
  • Ability to patiently explain complex issues and respond to various queries
  • Entry level for less complex professional roles not requiring a specific degree
