Description:
As a Senior Reserving Actuary within the Life and Heath Global Reserving Centre, you will play a vital role in assuring and reporting on the quality of the SCOR Life & Health (L&H) reserves related to its diverse global portfolio of L&H business.
You will work closely with the SCOR L&H reserving and modelling teams throughout the world on various reserving topics, including the implementation of SCOR’s L&H reserving strategy and support the forward planning of L&H reserving impacts across all bases & metrics. You will also support the activity to review experience and set best estimate assumptions across the reserving teams, discussing the assumption review scope with teams, and provide support on key Finance projects.
As part of the role, you will also provide support & guidance to other L&H reserving teams on issues of methodology, appropriate techniques, and expert judgement, especially as it relates to your scope of work, and support the Head of L&H GRC to manage global reserving topics and ensure consistency of approach across all local reserving teams.
You will be a key part of the Global Reserving Centre team, with a high degree of responsibility and autonomy.
EXPERIENCE:
- Qualified Actuary (FIA, FSA or equivalent), with 5+ years PQE
- Significant experience in reserving/reporting (IFRS or Solvency II), gained in a Life & Health (re)insurance context.
- Experience leading projects, workstreams and/or teams, and collaborating with senior stakeholders.
