Job Introduction
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Resource Officer to join the management team of the Hastings and Rother Neighbourhood Support Team.
You will be part of an established, dynamic and busy duty team, and will be creative in your approach to the needs of our community, building on peoples’ assets with a strength based approach.
We are looking for candidates who have a good working knowledge and understanding of the The Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005 as well as having experience in risk assessment which will drive your management.
A good knowledge of Safeguarding Adults Policy and Procedures and experience of undertaking Safeguarding Enquiries under section 42 of the Care Act will be essential.
You will need to be confident and competent in assessing risk, identifying appropriate need and have experience of providing social care/ multidisciplinary interventions. The ability to work effectively in a team, commitment to customer service and excellent communication skills are essential.

Our office is based in Hastings Town Centre and hybrid working is available, combining time in the office and working from home.
