Description:
Organise the delivery of Resuscitation Council accredited Basic, Immediate, Advanced Adult & Paediatric Life Support courses to meet the Trusts and individual requirements. Training and assessment of all clinical staff for all levels of life support Adult and Paediatrics. Maintenance of training and 2222 call databases. Responsible for maintaining professional development.
Clinical practice: Attending clinical emergencies when available and participates in the resuscitation process. Offers advice and support on resuscitation policies and procedures. Demonstrate effective teaching qualities. Maintain own professional teaching qualifications.
Demonstrates a commitment to act as a facilitator/preceptor. Demonstrate knowledge of DNACPR and current UK Resuscitation Guidelines
