Job Description
Join AFCA as a Senior Risk and Compliance Specialist and play a pivotal role in uplifting AFCA’s maturity in enterprise and operational risk, corporate compliance and assurance across the organisation.
The role will also cover conflict and incident management, project support and business continuity management. This role is critical in ensuring that AFCA remains resilient, compliance and prepared for future challenges. Reporting to the Head of Risk and Compliance, you will be joining a highly engaged and well-regarded team that has a wide remit across AFCA, engaging at all levels. This is a permanent role in a stable and growing not-for-profit.
Qualifications
You will have:
- Several years experience in risk management principles and strategies.
- Experience in running risk workshops and forums.
- Experience in implementing or using risk and compliance management systems, experience of CAMMS would be highly advantageous.
- A high level of communication and influencing skills to deal with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Critical thinking and analytical skills for assessing risks, interpreting data and making informed decisions.
- You will be a self-starer with a track record of delivering enhancements and working autonomously.
