Responsibilities:
You will assess variety of engineering risks, across a range of industries, as diverse as manufacturing, energy, marine, breweries, hotels, utilities, plants and the list goes on. This is an exceptional role with the opportunity to delve into the inner workings of various businesses. Key aspects of this role will include but are not limited to:
- Engaging with the client to understand their engineering risk profile, investigating and probing beneath the surface
- Advising clients on how to best protect their business against risks
- Continuously learning new industries and companies
- Provide survey reports and risk improvement advice on risk or potential risks to Underwriters and others within the business
- Support the development of a profitable regional portfolio.
- Complete & review survey reports for assets insured or quoted to minimise loss prevention and/or cover recommendations to underwriters.
- Provide technical advice as required and support enhancement of departmental activities.
