Job Description
The AECOM Transportation team is seeking a talented Senior Roadway QA Inspector for our Barrie, ON location
This is an on-call contract role to start ASAP

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

  • Highschool + 4 years of relevant experience in highway/ roadway construction or Diploma/Certificate + 2 YORE
  • OACETT Registration or eligibility as Road Construction Contract Administrator (RCCA) required.
  • Minimum two (2) MTO or Municipal projects

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Ideally 5+ years of relevant experience in general highway construction experience
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage staff during parallel daytime and nighttime shifts.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Responsible for setting own project deadlines.
  • Provides on the job training to new employees.
  • Responsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties.
  • Performs daily field inspections and maintains inspection records.
  • Participates in punch lists, testing, and commissioning.
  • Tracks quality assurance progress.
  • Provides input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers.
