  The Sr. RoR Developer architects and builds rich hybrid applications that deliver experiences worthy of our clients’ brands. This is achieved by leveraging the power of new technologies and frameworks, keeping in mind the concerns around functionality, security, performance and scalability.
  Please note: This position is restricted to candidates based in Latam., and as such, only applicants within Latam will be considered for this role.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERTISE:

• Ruby on Rails: Hands-on experience in writing and maintaining code in Ruby on Rails.
• RESTful APIs: Strong experience in managing RESTful APIs is essential, given the application’s heavy reliance on API interactions.
• Microservices Architecture: Proficient with microservices design and management using Kubernetes and Docker for containerization.
• Database Management: Experience with AWS Aurora based on PostgreSQL, ensuring data integrity and performance optimization.
• Agile Methodologies: Solid experience in Scrum; adept at iterative development, managing sprints, and participating in Scrum ceremonies.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English, with strong communication skills for effective collaboration in a multicultural environment.

• Writing easily maintainable, extendable, and understandable code that adheres to software engineering design principles.
• Develop, test, and maintain an ecommerce platform.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
