Description:
Derrycourt Cleaning Specialists a successful and growing family run Irish business is looking to recruit a Senior Administrator to join our Sales and Marketing Team in our Finglas office. This is a specified purpose contract (starting asap, maternity cover basis - up to 12 months). This opportunity will provide the candidate with the opportunity to join our sales and marketing team. The successful candidate will have strong administration and interpersonal skills. They will be able to work as a team member and on their own initiative and be able to work to deadlines. The role will include collating information and writing up compelling (often large) proposal documents.
Key Responsibilities
- To be an administrative contact within the department for the Tender/Bids/Quotes New Business process.
- To ensure all assigned tasks and responsibilities are completed to required standard and all work is of a high standard.
- To manage the assigned tasks within the sales and marketing assignments for information requirements / allocate tasks/and follow up with team members, colleagues across the business.
- To assist in the completion of new business bids/quotations, from the initial contact, arranging site visits, creating and issuing quotation and all follow up as required.
- To participate on the mobilisation teams for new business and assist from bids/quotation process ensuring all departments are aware of specific client requirements.
- To ensure Client Relationship Management Teams folder systems are kept updated in line with bid/quote tender information documentation and tender requests.
- To assist with preparation of weekly reports, preparing and updating mobilisation plans, report writing.
- As required, to assist colleagues with the production of bid documentation, meeting submission deadlines.
- To participate in the continual improvement of tender/bid proposals and qualification material.
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an Administration capacity
- Excellent English writing skills and attention to detail. Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office programmes & cloud-based platforms
- Good numerical / financial awareness skills
- Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative
- Experience organising and working in a busy environment, often with multiple demands and producing high quality work while meeting strict deadlines
- Excellent communication, management and organisational skills required
- Previous experience/exposure to the completing of tenders and quotations would be an advantage
- Qualification in administration, English (degree) or journalism would be an advantage
