Responsibilities:

JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

To work in partnership with the Store Management team to oversee the day-to day running of the store, including selling, motivating the team of Sales Associates to drive sales. As a Senior Sales Assistant you will be a role model in operational excellence, through your knowledge in both store operations and brand excellence. You will bring a level of energy which inspires others to deliver results. You will have outstanding customer service and will drive sales through coaching, training and communicating policies and procedures.
As a Senior Sales Assistant you would be a Key Holder for your store and responsible for opening and closing the store in the Store Managers absence. As a EssilorLuxottica ambassador you will understand and bring to life the Company values and the Sunglass Hut culture.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:

  • Achieving high levels of sales performance and results on the shop floor
  • Covering the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in their absence – including opening and closing the store.
  • Ensuring store operations are adhered to in accordance to Company operating procedures and policies.
  • Ensuring stock compliance through regular frame counts in accordance to store operating procedures.
  • Driving performance through others by coaching and mentoring the Sales Associates on the shop floor.
  • Leading from the front in terms of brand and product knowledge by ensuring you are regularly attending brand/product training.
  • Brand and Product ambassadors.
  • Coach associates to consistently deliver effective selling behaviours resulting in high customer engagement.
