SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Strong experience in Sales Compensation
  • Experience in sales compensation in a technology/SaaS/marketplace company
  • Possess strong analytical skills to effectively analyze data and create meaningful, understandable models, reports, metrics, and charts
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with tact and diplomacy, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
  • Ability to work independently and process a high volume of error-free, detailed work
  • Results driven and accountable for actions; ability to work under tight deadlines and schedules while handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Sales Compensation Management Software, such as Xactly, and Salesforce experience desired.
  • Highly analytical, detailed, accurate, organized, and reliable
  • Advanced Excel skills related to formulas and functions, including: Pivot tables, vlookups, Nested IF statements, Logic statements, etc. Macro experience desired

Responsibilities:

  • Participates in sales incentive design
  • Calculates commissions and bonus payments for an international team. Responsible for timely submission of payments to payroll. Conducts regular reviews of data to ensure accuracy
  • Develops and maintains business relationships with People & Culture, Finance and Sales to ensure alignment with best practices in sales compensation
  • Researches and resolves questions, discrepancies, and other ad hoc requests from leadership
  • Designs and develops financial models and analysis to evaluate proposed Compensation plan designs, in-year plan changes, and special programs
  • Provides analysis and measures trends to assess effectiveness and quality of Compensation Plans and programs
  • Drives automation and process improvements for simplification and efficiency of Compensation programs
  • Supports management on relevant analyses, including continual definition of best metrics and reporting methods
  • All other duties as assigned
