Job Summary:
The Senior Sales Director, Content Services provides leadership, direction, and resource stewardship to the organization’s sales function. Primary responsibilities include generation of sales growth in the territory or accounts assigned and overall customer interactions in the sale of products and services provided by KnowledgeWorks Global Ltd. (KGL).
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Negotiates key account agreements, which position KGL for future success and long-term stability.
- Identify sales prospects for growth opportunities and follow up on new leads and referrals when provided.
- Prepare and present proposals, estimates, and presentations.
- Establish and maintain current client and prospective client relationships by presenting and selling company products and services.
- Prepare action plans and identify specific ways to advance sales.
- Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume, market share, and other key financial performance objectives.
- Continuously advance one’s own product and industry knowledge to be a valuable company and client resource.
- Establish and maintain productive peer-to-peer relationships with customers and prospects with consistent client follow-up.
- Prepare a variety of status reports, including key account activity, quote follow-up and other duties assigned.
- Coordinate with internal staff to accomplish the work required to close the sale and/or resolve customer client concerns.
- Regularly participate in marketing events, seminars, customer visits, trade shows or conferences when assigned.
- Assist the company in the follow up collection of payment from clients, if required.
- Be a team player; strive for the best possible outcome for the company and client.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales, preferably within the publishing industry.
- Proven track record in sales, with the ability to meet or exceed targets consistently.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in the digital publishing and content services market.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with external customers and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Acceptance of, and responsibility to maintain sales goals and results.
- Must be able to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude, strong ambition, empathy, and honesty.
- Ability to adhere to all company policies and procedures in a professional and consistent manner.

- Master’s degree is a plus.

- Proficiency in using CRM tools, like Salesforce or HubSpot, to manage client relationships and sales processes.
- Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and performance metrics to make informed decisions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address client needs and overcome sales challenges.
- Capability to develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans.
- Proficiency in preparing and delivering compelling presentations to clients and stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and sales software programs.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and client needs.

- Visual and Auditory Acuity: Good vision and hearing to effectively communicate with clients and team members, both in person and via digital platforms.
- Physical Stamina: Occasionally standing for long periods during presentations or trade shows.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
These travel requirements ensure that the executive can effectively build and maintain client relationships, stay updated with industry trends, and represent the company at key events.
- Frequently domestic travel for client meetings, industry events, trade shows, and conferences. Occasional international travel may be required.
- Ability to travel on short notice and adapt to changing schedules.
- Occasionally, extended stays may be required to manage client relationships or oversee sales operations in different regions.
- Proficiency in using various modes of transportation, including flights, trains, rental cars, and taxi services.
- Valid driver’s license and passport.
- This position is 100% remote.
