JOB DESCRIPTION

We are in search of a Senior Sales Engineer for our Hydronics Balancing Products in Malaysia, focusing primarily on the commercial building segment. The candidate will report to General Manager based in Malaysia. There is a technical team that will support the Senior Sales Engineer in tenders, quotations and technical customer support.

  • Business or Engineering degree, with proven experience in sales and marketing and business development, preferably in the HVAC Commercial Building sectors
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in related role
  • Proven track record in driving initiatives, results and engagement via others
  • Proven leadership experience in a virtual and matrix environment
  • Understand the Malaysia market within HVAC Commercial Building sectors
  • Entrepreneur mindset with high level of energy and confidence and strong appetite for challenges
  • Strong communication skills English language
  • Ambitious and has a strong drive to succeed. Self-motivated

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Develop sales growth in the commercial building segment
  • Secure continuous profitable presence in the market with a broad portfolio of leading components and solutions
  • Investigate and follow through on strategic opportunities and partnerships
  • As a part of the strategy work, cooperate with key stakeholders to define the best products, services and solutions fitted and attractive to the Malaysia commercial building market in particular
  • Continue the development of profitable sales to existing customers
  • Develop network and partnership with key players in relevant industries
  • Further develop the structure and competencies to secure a result-driven pro-active and innovative sales organization that supports the strategy
  • Drive for continued improvement in customer satisfaction
