Description:

C.H. Robinson is looking for a Senior Sales Executive to join its European Surface Transportation team.
As a Senior Sales Executive, you will be responsible for generating, prospecting, soliciting, and closing new accounts leveraging all of C.H. Robinson’s logistics services (including but not limited to: Truckload, LTL, Intermodal, and Outsource Solutions). You will be in daily contact with potential customers, building relationships, problem solving and assessing their needs.

Responsibilities:

THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION CONSISTS OF, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING:

  • Looking for new customers – we are looking for a “hunter” who will reach the customer through all possible channels
  • Identify new sales opportunities by analyzing and understanding key needs, as well as choosing the right approach for each lead
  • Inside sales: contact and conduct initial discovery with customers via phone and email
  • Outside sales: facilitate face-to-face meetings, present proposals and solutions, close business in person
  • Collaborate with the internal team when onboarding services to a customer
  • Assist with account management issues after the sale, as needed
  • Establish credit terms with clients in coordination with company goals and directives
  • Participate in face-to-face meetings to make proposals, offer solutions, and close deals
