Description:

Position will be responsible for the development of the lead generation programs and nurture outbound / inbound sales lead campaigns for the various KCS Distribution product lines. This position will utilize an integrated strategy that may include, but not limited to, marketing automation, inbound/outbound telemarketing, working industry lead lists, networking, and grassroots marketing. This position will play a crucial role in creating, implementing, and reinforcing best practices and procedures to make lead generation discipline and the Sales team successful. Additionally, this role will include proactive prospecting and will email and make calls and to potential customers (GM, CE, IT, IT consultants, C-Level) to introduce our product solution, log call and information into CRM platforms and set up demos and appointments for Sales Team.
Responsibilities:
- Establishing viable opportunities
- Work with the sales team to focus on their efforts on the interested companies.
- Contacting prospective customers.
- Begin a conversation with the prospective customer. These initial conversations can take place via telephone or over email and can establish a lead’s interest in the product or service.
- Researching a company beforehand for alignment to KCS requirements
- Follow up on all leads generate by the website and cold calling, update all activity in CRM systems
- Prospecting, generating, qualifying, processing and following up on leads and appointment setting for sales team
- Collaboratively work with the sales, marketing team and leadership to develop lead generation strategies to generate lead opportunities with prospective customers
- Initiates and participates in new business pitches with sales team and subject matter experts and own follow-through with the lead prospect
- This position will be responsible for using best practices in maintaining our CRM tools to document sales activities and generate accurate pipeline information
