Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Senior Sales Manager role will drive AMA’s mission to revolutionize dynamic audio advertising by establishing, developing, and nurturing strategic relationships with major agency partners within the big 6 holding groups. This high-impact position demands a proven revenue generator with extensive digital audio or programmatic industry expertise. The Senior Sales Manager will shape and challenge clients through a consultative approach, inspiring them to strive for exceptional results by leveraging AMA’s data-driven personalization capabilities. With an entrepreneurial mindset and a track record of building lucrative agency partnerships, this role will propel AMA’s growth while delivering groundbreaking audio campaigns for iconic brands.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Drive advertising revenues by selling personalization for digital audio through the establishment and maintenance of relationships with media agencies, both directly and programmatically.
  • Utilize a consultative approach with clients, educating and inspiring them on the use of data and insights to improve creative effectiveness and inform audio investment strategy.
  • Collaborate with multiple agency departments, such as strategy, comms planning, radio, digital, programmatic, DCO teams, buying, branded content, and innovation teams, to deliver successful campaigns.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the digital audio landscape, programmatic buying, insights, and analytics.
  • Work with internal creative and campaign management teams to shape and execute campaigns.
  • Coordinate with Engineers and 3rd Party research partners to ensure proper setup, optimization, and measurement of campaigns for optimal results.
  • Attend industry events, network, entertain, and actively engage in the digital advertising community.
  • Identify innovative ways to deliver campaigns, foster collaboration, and motivate cross-departmental teams for successful launches.
