Candidates must be located within a 2-hour commuting distance from Boston, MA.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Equivalent experience in a scientific field, with a minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in the Life Sciences/Analytical Instruments sector, will also be considered.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets, with experience leading a territory at or above $100M.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with 2+ years of experience leading a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of collaborating effectively with teams from various departments and cultivating relationships with important individuals.
- Strong analytical skills, capable of analyzing market trends and competitor activities to develop effective sales strategies.
- Ability to travel as required.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of 8-12 Sales Representatives, ensuring flawless execution of sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Develop and implement district level plans that align with overall company objectives, while consistently delivering measurable results.
- Drive sales performance by providing coaching, training, and guidance to the sales team, helping them exceed their goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Product Development, to determine and successfully implement effective sales strategies.
- Continuously monitor market trends and competitor activities to determine competitive positioning and identify new growth opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
