To support our ambitious growth plans, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our well-established commercial team based in our newly inaugurated office in the heart of Oslo.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Industry Expertise: Demonstrable experience in the energy and utilities market, preferably with 5+ years in a commercial or customer-facing role.
  • SaaS/DaaS Experience: Previous experience in a SaaS/DaaS account management role or similar, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Meteorological Knowledge: An understanding of how weather impacts the energy and utilities sector, with previous experience in the meteorological sector preferred (but not pre-requisite)
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Negotiation and Communication: Strong negotiation skills and enthusiasm for leveraging weather information to solve business challenges. Excellent communication skills in English and one or more Nordic languages.
  • Executive Engagement: Confidence in engaging with executives up to C-suite, ensuring our value proposition is clearly communicated at the highest decision-making levels.
  • Team Player: Proven ability to work independently while being an integral part of a close-knit team focused on the energy & utilities segment.
  • Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is desirable, preferably in meteorology or a related / position-related discipline.
  • Legal Requirement: EU working permit essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Process Management: Oversee and manage the entire sales process with a strategic focus on the Nordic Energy & Utilities market.
  • Client Engagement: Present and advocate for our cutting-edge weather solutions, advising clients and prospective clients on technical and meteorological applications tailored to their specific needs.
  • Brand Awareness: Enhance Meteomatics’ rapidly growing brand presence by representing the company at conferences and trade fairs across the Nordic region and beyond.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Grow and nurture our existing Nordic client portfolio in close collaboration with the customer success team.
  • Lead Generation: Collaborate with our marketing and SDR teams to design, implement, and execute effective lead generation campaigns.
  • Industry Networking: Leverage your existing network within the energy industry to promote Meteomatics’ solutions.
  • Proposal and Contract Negotiation: Prepare and negotiate offers and contracts for our products and services, working closely with internal specialists.
  • Tender Participation: Identify and collaborate on tenders to secure new business opportunities.
