Description:
The Sales Manager is responsible for generating business from corporate accounts and travel agents to achieve overall sales targets and objectives outlined in the Sales & Marketing Plan.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years experience and above
- Proven experience in hotel sales, with a focus on corporate accounts
- Strong understanding of the hospitality industry and market trends
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Results-oriented with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM softwar
Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and other potential clients
Sales Targets:
- Set and achieve sales targets as outlined in the Sales & Marketing Plan
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
- Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries and concerns
Proposal and Contract Negotiation:
- Prepare and present proposals to clients, showcasing the hotel’s offerings
- Negotiate contracts and terms with clients to secure business agreements
Market Research:
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and industry trends
- Provide regular feedback to the management team on market conditions and competitor activities
Sales Presentations:
- Deliver effective sales presentations to potential clients, highlighting the hotel’s unique selling points
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote the hotel
Collaboration with Internal Departments:
- Coordinate with various internal departments, such as operations and reservations, to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns
Sales Reporting:
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports to the management team
- Analyze sales performance and propose strategies for improvement
