Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a driven and ambitious individual to join our dynamic team as the first Sales Representative. This role focuses on identifying and onboarding community leaders, starting with wellness and fitness creators, encouraging them to start their own clubs and communities on Locals.org and transferring their existing communities to Locals. This role lays the foundation for growth into a Head of Community Commerce.
You will report directly to the COO.
The ideal candidate will possess strong self-motivation, a proactive approach, and the ability to build and manage processes, including developing a database and relationships with leading creators and generating and converting leads to expand our business and community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creator Onboarding: Identify, contact, and onboard 999 wellness and fitness creators within the first 6 months, ensuring they are the right fit for the Locals’ platform and community.
  • Database Management: Build and maintain a comprehensive database of 500+ potential community creation leads monthly.
  • Sales ownership: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales framework, hire and build a high-performing sales team (5-7 people within a year) from the ground up, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives and market demands to drive sustainable revenue growth.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify and report to the product team on emerging trends and top influencers in the wellness and fitness industry monthly.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with creators, achieving a 90% satisfaction rate (conversion to Locals community owners) during the onboarding process.
  • Sales Metrics: Track and analyse key sales metrics, providing weekly reports on lead conversion rates, onboarding success, and areas for improvement.
