Description:
A third of the world’s crop production depends on honeybee pollination, yet beekeepers lose 40% of their hives each year. To be part of the solution, our team’s mission is to provide beekeepers and growers with the data-driven tools needed to raise thriving honeybee colonies. We believe that the technology being built by our team - including AI models - will lead to a future where pollinators are considered an essential factor in feeding our planet. With our digital hive management system BeeTrack, Nectar’s goal is to equip commercial migratory beekeepers with technologies that enable them to make data-driven decisions to raise healthier bees to secure our food supply.
ABOUT THE POSITION
As a Senior Sales Specialist at Nectar, you’ll play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and expanding our impact in the commercial beekeeping industry. We’re seeking a candidate with exceptional sales skills and a proven track record of meeting aggressive targets. While domain knowledge in agriculture or beekeeping is advantageous, we prioritize candidates who demonstrate a keen interest and ability to quickly learn about the industry.
