We’re looking for a passionate, self-driven, and motivated Sales Specialist to join our OTTO Motors Sales Organization. We strive to become the ‘renaissance people’ of deal-making, with proven skills across all account functions: strategic account planning, business development, direct technical sales, and account administration. This is a remote position, with 30-50% travel required – you will receive support from the team regardless of location.

Responsibilities:

  • Pursue target accounts in your territory, infiltrate those accounts at the highest decision-making level, and secure that business.
  • Devise account strategies that leverage OTTO solutions and go-to-market strategy to expand OTTO within target accounts
  • Develop business relationships across the organization elevating OTTO’s position within the executive ranks.
  • Work with clients to identify materials handling automation opportunities in their facilities, promote and demonstrate the OTTO solution and engage the customers in projects with compelling business cases.
  • Be responsible for pipeline growth and revenue growth in your territory.
  • Devise your personal strategy to systematically conquer your slice of the globe and we will do everything we can to support you along the way!
  • Your market insights and customer relationships will play a large role in OTTO’s geography expansion strategy
  • Employ outcome-based selling methodologies and resources to generate new Accelerated Initiatives opportunities, drive your own opportunities to closure, and support Global Account Managers (GAMs), Sales Account Managers (SAMs), and Account Managers (AMs) with their opportunities.
  • Influence customers in digital transformation journeys and lead Value Workshops.
  • Engage multifunctional teams to support opportunity pursuits.
  • Register opportunities with co-selling organizations and coordinate with proposal teams.

Sales Discipline & General Activities:

  • Negotiate and close opportunities to exceed quotas.
  • Utilize Outcome-based Selling for business growth.
  • Develop long-term customer relationships to drive recurring sales programs.
  • Move buyers through the buying process and create opportunity strategies.
  • Collaborate with RA Sales teams and ensure CRM reflects reality.
  • Manage pipeline to ensure sufficient deals are forecasted and propel them to closure

Required Skills and Experience:

  • University degree in STEM, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant industry experience in various technical roles.
  • Proven success in Business Development, Direct Sales, and/or Key Account Management.
  • Experience selling to mid-market and enterprise organizations.
  • Experience with CRM products such as Salesforce.com and DCRM is an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to deliver compelling presentations.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to achieve results.
  • Ability to travel to customers 20-50% of the time.
