Senior Sample Coordinator – 3 Cycle shift - Athlone, Ireland

Key Experience

  • Min. Leaving Cert education
  • 3rd level education in science related discipline would be desirable
  • Previous experience of min. 2 year in a GMP environment that provides the desirable experience
  • Excellent work ethic and ability to work to deadlines
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of inventory flow and control
  • Knowledge of laboratory and regulatory requirements (documentation, sample storage

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversees and independently performs a variety of complex sample and standard tasks (receipt, check-in, login, labeling, launching, inventory, transport, checkout, return, disposals, etc.) in support of the laboratory.
  • Guides and advises laboratory staff in sample / standard procedures.
  • Communicates status of sample / standard tasks to laboratory.
  • Completes investigation and deviation forms as necessary, and determines appropriate CAPAs.
  • Reviews and provides feedback on laboratory requests, ensuring compliance with applicable SOPs.
  • Assists in preparation and implementation of SOPs and quality systems. Responds to environmental unit alarms and participates in on-call responsibilities.
  • Performs work assignments accurately and in a timely and safe manner.

Key Experience

Hours: (applicants must be able to work these shifts)
Morning shift - 6.30am - 3.15pm M-T, 6.30am - 2.15pm F.
Core Shift - 8.30am - 5.15 M-T, 8.30am - 4.15pm F.
Evening Shift - 2pm - 10.30pm M-T, 1pm-8pm F.
Rotational shift, evening shift every 4 weeks.
