SAP recently decided to combine and harmonize all SAP Sovereign Cloud offerings, establishing an end-to-end process for the Public Sector and regulated industries. The newly created Global Sovereign Cloud Delivery & Operations business unit is part of SAP Product Engineering with responsibility across the relevant Sovereign Cloud portfolio of SAP. Global Sovereign Cloud Delivery & Operations is collaborating closely with all Board areas to establish a harmonized, scalable, and consistent offering with transparent and standardized deliverables
In this role, you will join the SAP Sovereign Cloud Engineering team. You will be working closely together with product and program managers, developers and architects of all SaaS Platforms and be a key contributor in a large organization that is responsible for the engineering and evolution of SAP Sovereign Cloud’s product portfolio. You will have the opportunity to solve the complex challenges of scale and security which are unique to SAP Sovereign Cloud. You will engage closely with the SAP Sovereign Cloud Operations, Platform, and Application engineering teams and jointly help to ensure that relevant SAP product development teams can execute against their requirements backlog derived from government security control frameworks.

In the role of Senior SAP Basis Consultant, you will:

• Work on Technology projects – installation, configuration, upgrade, migration, conversion, greenfield implementation, integration with other systems
• Provide BASIS support for projects involving S/4HANA
• Provide architectural guidance on cloud migration (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Design end-to-end security for SAP on premise and SAP Cloud based applications including two factor authentications and single sign-on from anywhere on any device
• Troubleshoot/analyze and resolve technical problems
• Manage multiple tasks, work in a team environment, understand and be responsive to project and customer needs.
• Adapt and function effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment while working under deadlines.
• Build credible relationships with peers and clients, and continuously learn about SAP products.
