SUMMARY & ROLE INFORMATION
SAP’s Corporate Process and Information Technology (CPIT) organization offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced technical professional in the Payroll product team. In our international, fast-paced environment, you will help drive strategic business objectives throughout the product lifecycle.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS WILL INCLUDE
- Ensure legal compliance of the Payroll solution for both US and Canada
- Collaborate with external strategic partners to manage solution operations and smoothly transition deliverables from Development to Operations
- Drive continuous improvement within the Product area in terms of operational efficiency, reducing TCO, support quality and customer satisfaction
- Review and validate all new legal requirements for US and Canada payroll solution
- Engage with relevant stakeholders and provide technical, functional as well as business process knowledge within the Product area
- Stay updated on functions, applications and new technologies relevant to the Product area
- Foster innovation as needed to address challenges and drive progress
- Ensure Product area is compliant with Global IT technical, quality and process standards
EXPERIENCE/ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- 6+ years professional working experience in SAP Application related project delivery and support in SAP HCM Payroll for US and Canada
- Technical experience with SAP HCM Payroll specifically for US and Canada country payroll knowledge
- Good knowledge of local legal payroll requirement for US and Canada including BSI tax calculation
- Knowledge in the following areas is a plus: HR ABAP OO, UI5, Webdynpro.
- Knowledge in SuccessFactors Employee Central would be an advantage
- Proficient in identifying, understanding, and reviewing customer needs, objectives, and business requirements to ensure the effective design and implementation of operational IT solutions
- Demonstrates strong teamwork skills, actively engages in proactive networking, and maintains a focus on achieving results and executing tasks efficiently
- Motivated to work in international, intercultural settings, and agile framework environments, contributing positively to collaborative work dynamics
- Possesses strong analytical abilities, along with excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels
