Description:

JOB SUMMARY

As a Senior Scrum Master (12574), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related fiel.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Product Owner (CSPO), or similar a certification
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role within software development teams.
  • Strong familiarity with agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to engage constructively with all levels of the organization including the executive team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to foresee potential issues and proactively resolve them.
  • Experience with project management software such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Technologies: SaFe certification.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Agile Ceremonies: Lead and optimize all Scrum ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews. Ensure active participation and effective outcomes to keep the development process runni smoothly.
  • Enhance Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment that encourages open communication and idea sharing. Act as a mediator to resolve conflicts a ensure the team remains focused and cohesive.
  • Strengthen Stakeholder Relations: Serve as a key liaison between the development teams and senior management, ensuring clear vision and effecti communication of project statuses. Work closely with product owners to deeply understand business requirements and the product roadmap. Regularly engage with leaders across engineering, product, and business teams to ensure alignment of project objectives and expectations.
  • Proactive Problem Solving: Proactively identify and address potential setbacks. Remove roadblocks and advocate for the team’s needs, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to succeed.

  • Promote Agile Best Practices: Champion agile best practices within the team, supporting ongoing improvement through coaching and mentoring. Track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress to all stakeholders.
  • Protect the Team: Act as a protector of the team by ensuring they are not bogged down by external pressures, allowing them to maintain focus on their objectives.
