Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Scrum Master Role : Serve as a servant leader to the Scrum team, facilitating Scrum ceremonies and promoting an agile mindset.
  • Collaboration with Product Owners : Work closely with Product Owners to ensure that the product backlog is well-defined, prioritized, and clear.
  • Progress Monitoring : Track and report on team progress, velocity, and sprint health to ensure transparency and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Scrum Implementation and Scaling : Responsible for establishing Scrum practices at the team level and scaling the setup at the enterprise level.
  • Impediment Removal : Identify and remove any impediments that may hinder the team’s progress, and help resolve conflicts or issues that arise.
  • Managing Dependencies : Oversee dependencies across multiple inter-related projects and products, managing and reporting the status of product roadmaps and project progress to support effective decision-making.
  • Project/Product Change Management : Develop and advocate for project/product and change artifacts during the change lifecycle.
  • Risk and Dependency Management : Enable the team to actively identify and address dependencies and risks, or escalate issues in a timely manner.
  • Team Effectiveness and Coaching : Responsible for the team’s effectiveness, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, visualizing and measuring team flow, and ensuring quick resolution of any impediments.
  • Metrics and Self-Reflection : Surface team metrics and guide the team in understanding and reflecting on their performance to drive continuous improvement.
  • Backlog and Roadmap Support : Support and coach the Product Owner in managing the backlog and aligning the product roadmap with organizational goals.
  • Team and Stakeholder Coaching : Mentor team members and stakeholders, remove obstacles, and emphasize the importance of teamwork.
  • Personal Growth and Adaptability : Demonstrate a personal growth mindset, embracing lifelong learning, continuous self-improvement, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Empathy and Conflict Resolution : Exhibit proactivity, self-organization, empathy, and interpersonal conflict resolution skills, while encouraging a psychologically safe environment for the team.
