Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Practicing Agile Scrum Master experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Experience leading teams through Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • 4+ years working in an Agile environment
  • 4+ Experience facilitating Scrum Ceremonies (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning backlog refinement and Sprint Retrospective meetings) and/or Kanban
  • 4+ years in building JQL, managing, delivering JIRA boards and dashboards
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence software
  • 4+ years of end-to-end project execution and delivery
  • Experience working in a Product centric structur

Desired Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Good understanding of Product construct and product development life cycle.
  • Proven ability to influence customer -centric and product-centric decisions while building a collaborative point of view on the same.
  • Scrum Master Certification i.e., CSM from Scrum Alliance or PSM from Scrum.org
  • 4+ years of agile experience, including both Scrum and Kanban
  • 3+ years agile coaching experience

Responsibilities:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to lead Technology Agile teams within Wealth and Investment Management Technology. In this role, you will be supporting our innovative agile environment and leading end-to-end product execution of enhanced customer experience. As a Senior Scrum Master, you will enable and accelerate quality outcomes by assertively and proactively raising issues to influence change. Additionally, you will provide reporting on agile metrics for the product to senior leadership, raising risks and concerns in delivery across the product suite. Your contributions in this role will be an important element of our agile practice, helping realize our vision to enable and continuously improve our Scrum Master and Kanban Lead community. You are responsible to facilitate the delivery process with cross functional impact that involves keeping track of dependencies and aligning them with scrum team development schedule. Effective communication with stakeholders and leaders to escalate key risks and issues impeding scrum teams’ effectiveness is paramount for the success of this role.

In this role, you will:

  • Facilitate the scrum process with cross functional impact that involve moderately complex projects, non-projects, and maintenance work
  • Guide the scrum teams to follow Agile and Scrum practices to actively promote prioritization, team readiness, and commitment for each Sprint
  • Optimize scrum team metrics like velocity, predictability etc. to identify improvement opportunities to achieve higher levels of team performance
  • Deliver capabilities using agile practices while also following the Software Development Lifecycle, business process mapping, and various release processes as appropriate to ensure all risk, security, and development requirements are met
  • Partner with discipline managers about governance policies and adherence to corporate standards
  • Facilitate the Scrum Agile ceremonies for Agile teams
  • Collaborate with product owners, program, or project managers to communicate delivery of work product from the team and escalate key risks and issues impeding scrum team effectiveness.
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Interact with internal customers
  • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
