THE OPPORTUNITY
The Boeing E-7 Wedgetail is a globally-significant platform that delivers cutting-edge advantage to support Defence operational capabilities.
Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) are looking for an experienced Senior Security Advisor to join the E-7 Team. Applicants will have demonstrated experience in developing and managing complex security programs, and experience within Defence Industry will be highly regarded.
This role can be based in Brisbane CBD, RAAF Base Amberley (QLD) or RAAF Base Williamtown (NSW).
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working as a Defence Security Specialist in a large Defence Industry prime contractor or with the Australian Department of Defence is essential;
- Exceptional knowledge of the Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF), ASIO Tech Notes, and security practices and procedures specifically relating to high security locations and programs;
- Experience in Australian Government Classified Information management;
- Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build trust and collaborative relationships with the leadership team and other employees;
- Current Defence Security Officer Course; and
- Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements, and hold a minimum NV1 security clearance with the ability to attain up to Top Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV).

Responsibilities:
- Support Boeing Defence Australia and its customers in the development and implementation of Program Security Requirements, Responsibilities and Compliance;
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Customers and Boeing Senior Leadership
- Develop highly technical Security Management Plans for Boeing assets and facilities;
- Develop and deliver Security briefings and training; and
- Provide protective security subject matter expertise to the program including the management of high security areas.
