ABOUT THE ROLE:
Are you passionate about cybersecurity and eager to tackle a diverse array of threats? We are seeking a dynamic Senior Security Operations Engineer to join our security operations team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work in an environment where you can gain varied experience, utilising a wide range of tools and managing a broad scope of incidents across multiple customers.
As a Senior Security Operations Engineer, you will be a key player in our security operations team. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and manage cybersecurity incidents, provide strategic oversight, and drive continuous improvement in security operations. You will leverage your expertise to enhance our customers’ cyber resilience, mentor team members, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a robust and proactive security posture. Beyond the operations team, you will work with our Engineering teams to develop and implement advanced security protocols and measures, respond to security incidents, and provide guidance on security operations best practices.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following knowledge, skills, and experience:
- Solid knowledge of Entra ID and Microsoft Defender security stack
- Advanced expertise in leading incident investigation and response strategies
- Expertise in Azure Logic Apps, Function apps, and other automation capabilities
- Hands-on Engineering experience with Microsoft Sentinel and Defender XDR platform
- Strong understanding of operating systems, network protocols, infrastructure, and security vulnerabilities
- Coding experience relevant to automating security tasks, log aggregation and analysis, and device management
- Experience in Infrastructure as Code platform such as ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skill
