Description:

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Fluent in English and Japanese.
  • International SEO experience - working on global domain(s) with multiple subfolders/websites for different regions/languages that receive traffic from multiple search engines.
  • Experience working in a regulated financial company would be an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience working with industry tools: GA, Semrush, Majestic, Screaming Frog, Microsoft Excel, etc..
  • Comprehensive knowledge of search engine ranking signals.
  • Good technical SEO knowledge.
  • Knowledge around important SEO verticals and rich results: news, video, GMB, etc.
  • Good overall understanding of how content impacts SEO efforts and how to optimise it.

  • ROI orientated approach to task prioritisation.
  • Good understanding of reporting and web analytics.

Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE

  • Innovate and help drive all SEO activity for the project you will be working on (e.g. migration, new website release, etc.).
  • Managing the work and delivery of all required SEO deliverables needed for the project to be successful.
  • Deliver outstanding ROI relative to the SEO work done.

GENERAL DUTIES

  • Own each assigned SEO task from inception to reporting of results.
  • Managing, training and supporting team members.
  • Help optimise all facets of SEO for your project to drive maximum organic growth (e.g. copy, tech, etc.).
  • Be a technical SEO evangelist by undertaking all necessary website audits and work with the relevant teams on implementation for the project to ensure SEO best practices are adhered to (e.g. CWV, structured data, etc.).
  • Proactively keep on top of industry news, search engine updates and industry trends.
  • Report on project SEO progress to senior stakeholders to highlight results achieved towards KPIs.
  • Work with the copy team and leverage, create and contribute to content strategies to maximise SEO growth potential.
  • Ensure content and technical SEO improvements are always presented and considered.
  • Help internal teams to better understand search engines and help them achieve organic growth through SEO improvements.
  • Working closely with a variety of internal/external teams as well as regional offices to identify commercial SEO growth areas and to ensure SEO is prioritised.
  • Be a SEO evangelist within the company by showing how SEO can help drive conversions.
