Right now, we need to strengthen our Service team with a Senior Service Engineer who will focus on carrying out all warranty repairs for our retailers and non warranty repairs for all our end customers, along with giving technical support to our worldwide service centres.

YOU PROBABLY HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:

  • Electrical & Electronics qualification i.e. BTEC Level 3
  • Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Good working knowledge and understanding of valve technology (desirable)

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

The role entails receiving assessing and repairing customer returns, this includes all ranges of amplifiers, at the same time as promoting a professional Company image.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To assess and repair customers amplifiers
  • Provide quotes when necessary for work to be undertaken
  • To answer phone calls from customers and to give qualified engineers advice and guidance
  • Report work undertaken on internal system
  • Provide detailed report to be sent back with the amplifier
  • To be familiar with internal system to access circuits and diagrams
  • Use the internal Teams system to communicate with colleagues
  • Answer technical emails
  • Collect parts needed for repair from stores department
  • Dispose of components in line with company procedure
  • Communicate any recurring issues or technical issues found with manager
  • To ensure customer and personal safety at all time
  • Organise workshop stock and tool replenishment
  • To be on hand to give advice and help to colleagues
