DESCRIPTION:

The ServiceNow Discovery and Integrations Specialist will be responsible for:

CONSULTANT QUALIFICATIONS

The Senior ServiceNow Developer specializing in Discovery, IT Operations Management (ITOM), and Integrations will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing robust solutions within the ServiceNow platform. This role requires a deep understanding of ServiceNow’s capabilities, particularly in ITOM and Discovery, and the ability to integrate various systems seamlessly.

€¢ EDUCATION:

o Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.

€¢ EXPERIENCE:

o Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and administration:
â–ª Extensive experience in configuring and customizing ServiceNow applications, with a focus on ITOM and Discovery.
â–ª Proven track record of managing and delivering complex ServiceNow projects, from requirements gathering to deployment and support.
o Expertise in ServiceNow Modules:
â–ª In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow ITOM, including Event Management, Orchestration, and Operational Intelligence.
â–ª Comprehensive experience with ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB health, and remediation rules.
â–ª Proficiency in ITSM and other ServiceNow modules, with a strong understanding of their integration with ITOM.
• Technical Skills:
o Advanced Development Skills:
â–ª Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, and other web development technologies essential for ServiceNow customization.
â–ª Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, including the data model, security, and access control mechanisms.
o Integration Expertise:
â–ª Extensive experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, and other integration technologies.
â–ª Ability to design and implement complex integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.
o ServiceNow Discovery and ITOM:
â–ª Expertise in configuring and optimizing ServiceNow Discovery to ensure accurate and up-to-date information in the CMDB.
â–ª Familiarity with the Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE) and its role in maintaining CMDB data integrity.
â–ª Experience in implementing and managing CMDB health dashboards, remediation workflows, and automating IT operations using ServiceNow ITOM.
