SENIOR ENGINEER - EARTHWORKS PROJECT

Salary: £55,000 per annum

We are looking for a skilled Senior Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis to work on a major earthworks project. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an experienced and collaborative team on a high-profile development.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Proven experience as a Senior Engineer, with a strong background in earthworks or civil engineering
• Solid understanding of construction methods and techniques
• Experience in managing and mentoring teams
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• A relevant engineering qualification (e.g. Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent)
• Knowledge of current health, safety, and environmental standards

• Lead and manage site engineering activities on the earthworks project
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and site staff
• Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of earthworks operations
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery
• Review and approve engineering drawings, plans, and specifications
• Monitor project progress and address any issues or risks that may arise
