ABOUT THE JOB

Our client, a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor, are urgently seeking applications for a Senior Site Engineer to join their team. The chosen candidate will be the engineering lead on a large residential project in North Dublin.

Requirements:

  • Civil Engineering Degree or Masters
  • 5-8 years of work experience with a main building contractor.
  • Experience on RC Project’s.
  • Experience in Residential Type Construction.
  • Excellent IT skills and proficiency with surveying instruments and equipment.
  • Self-starters with strong problem-solving abilities who thrive in team environments.

  • Extremely technically competent

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Site Manager with engineering related challenges and decisions on site.
  • Manage Schedules.
  • Lease with Structural Design Engineers and Architects.
  • Assess Technical Drawings and specifications to make sure they are fit for project.
  • Checking shuttering, steel, and other dimensions prior to concrete pours and maintaining materials reconciliation files.
  • Recording all site activities, maintaining a site diary, and managing document uploads to the Document Management System (DMS).
  • Supervising directly employed and subcontractor personnel engaged in various construction project elements.
  • Adhering strictly to the company’s health and safety, environmental, quality, and other on-site policies and procedures.
