WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Working alongside Engineering to advise and design solutions which are reliable, scalable and observable.
• Help build the foundation of our system - both software and platform components - to offer to our teams.
• Identify, automate and remove repetitive tasks and manual toil from our day to day operations.
• Support root cause analysis using your holistic knowledge of systems and software to support our teams in identifying and fixing potential issues.
• Participate in cloud infrastructure rightsizing and drive / elevate our FinOps efforts.

YOU’LL BE GREAT FOR THIS ROLE IF

• You have extensive experience building and running large-scale systems on AWS.
• You have a good understanding of observability, reliability, scalability and application security best practices.
• You are proficient in a backend coding language. Golang is preferred.
• You love working with a team of engineers and are not afraid to challenge the status quo.
• You’re an expert at conveying information efficiently.
• You are a curious learner and eager to try new things.
