A day in the life of a Senior Social Legal Advisor
The HR Legal Department consists of four members of staff. It operates within the CoE Legal, Governance and Social Relations as a separate centre of expertise responsible for the application of all social-legal policies. This centre of expertise provides support to all ING business units, both for the business as well as for other HR services and social partners.
As a Senior Social Legal Advisor, you provide professional advice on social law and support management and your colleagues in ensuring a constructive social dialogue takes place within ING.

Your activities will include:

  • following changes in social law and identifying which changes are applicable to ING, you are a recognized partner in this regard;
  • advising ING leaders and providing substantiated advice in sometimes complex matters;
  • representing ING Belgium in legal cases in legal cases inside and outside the organization;
  • negotiating agreements with social partners and balancing priorities within the strategic ambitions of the organization;
  • working closely with our social partners.
