Responsibilities:
THE ROLE: SENIOR SOCIAL MARKETING MANAGER
This role is instrumental to growing the social presence of some really exciting brands within the startup world.
As a Senior Social Marketing Manager within the Brand Hackers team, you’ll be a key part of helping our brands achieve outsized impact from social media. Not only will you manage 1-2 brands of your own, you’ll also support our social team strategically, helping them to improve content ideas, production and bigger picture thinking.
A big part of this role is levelling up our social game across our brands and articulating a a vision for how Brand Hackers approaches social.
We want someone who has been there in the weeds, growing social accounts, creating content across platforms (a mix of video and static) but who has also demonstrated strategic thinking to accompany the creative execution.
You should have a strong point of view of how brands should be using social media to cut through, and be able to articulate this, even if that means convincing a founder to totally change course. A knowledge across all key social platforms is key, as is a good understanding of how brands should be approaching influencer marketing.
You should also be passionate about bringing up through the ranks the next generation of future social superstars, as you will be tasked with developing our ever-growing team of creators and social media managers.
Oh - and you will still be getting your hands dirty, creating content & managing social media accounts as part of this role.
This could be a great role for you, if you have:
- Significant experience working in social & influencer marketing across consumer facing brands (ideally FMCG / DTC)
- Strong content creation skills across static and video
- Demonstrable experience of building & executing high performing social strategies that delivered measurable impact on marketing and business goals
- An obsession with and knowledge of future trends within social and influencer
- An understanding of how organic intersects with paid and an understanding of what good looks like when it comes to creative for paid social channels
- Leadership skills - it is expected that you will line manage & develop more junior employeesExperience of setting a commercial strategy of a social team would be a bonu
