REQUIREMENTS

  • 4+ years experience in social media management.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook etc.
  • Familiarity with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative suite).
  • Basic understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
  • Deep understanding of social media best practices and emerging trends.
  • Ability to analyse social media metrics and drive actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of influencer marketing strategies.
  • Basic photography and video editing skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adaptable and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong creative storytelling abilities.
  • Passionate about travel and social media trends.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

As TourHero’s Senior Social Media & Community Manager, you’ll be the creative force behind our daily social content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and more. You’ll connect with our travel-loving community, help TourHeroes showcase their trips, and collaborate with our global team on strategies to expand our online presence. If you’re social media obsessed, bursting with creativity, and love travel, this role could be your perfect adventure.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Develop and execute TourHero’s social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other platforms.
  • Create engaging content and campaigns that align with our brand voice, inspire travel, and drive long-term community growth.
  • Foster engagement with our online community by actively interacting with followers and guiding them to take the next step in booking their trip with us.
  • Join scheduled strategy calls with our TourHeroes to refine their marketing approach and increase trip bookings. During these sessions, you’ll work together to develop compelling content and coordinate its distribution across multiple channels to expand their reach and attract more customers.
  • Drive organic growth and foster genuine connections with our community.
  • Stay on top of social media trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies to help keep TourHero’s social strategies fresh and relevant.
  • Analyse social media metrics and community engagement data to refine strategies and report on performance to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with other teams in the business (e.g marketing, product, customer experience) to ensure consistent messaging and leverage social media for company-wide initiatives.
  • Manage and moderate user-generated content, encouraging its creation and curating the best for broader sharing.
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure a consistent and timely flow of posts across all platforms.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with travel influencers and content creators to expand TourHero’s reach and credibility.
