REQUIREMENTS



    • +4 years experience working in a social media executive role - we’re looking for a natural and creative storyteller

    • Experience working for a retail / B2C brand, writing customer facing copy
    • Experience owning and growing a brand’s Instagram profile(s)
    • Ability to adapt to our tone of voice and target market, using emotive language where appropriate
    • High level of attention to detail and organisational skills
    • Strong communication skills - written and verbal
    • Experience using AI for both idea generation and efficiency
    • Creative thinker
    • Self-motivated with the ability to work well collaboratively as well as autonomously
    • Be able to take feedback and constructive criticism on board

    THE ROLE

    Are you looking for a creative and dynamic role within social media? Do you want experience working for a British brand? Would you like to grow and nurture an engaged global audience of parents-to-be and new parents?
    We are looking for a passionate and creative Senior Social Media Executive to join the Brand Marketing team, to help support our continued mission to build a brand loved and trusted by parents. This role will report into the Brand Manager, and will work closely with key stakeholders across the business.
    With the support of the Brand Manager, the Senior Social Media Executive will be executing the strategy across our organic social channels, with a particular focus on Instagram and our private Facebook group, MORI VIPs. You will own and deliver a content plan to resonate with our community, while maintaining our strong engagement rate. Our key markets are the UK and the US, so this person will need to be able to adapt content and copy for our customers and target audience.
    This is a full time contract and remote role based in South Africa.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Strategy


      • With the support of the Brand Manager, you will evolve the strategy for our Organic Social channels, with a particular focus on Instagram and our private Facebook group, MORI VIPs

      • You will introduce creative ways to make MORI and our products more shareable creating a strong social voice and buzz in the market
      • Exploring new channels as they enter the market
      • Content


        • Fully integrated planning of content across channels

        • Executing content through posting and scheduling using Sprout Social
        • Leading organic social media first campaigns
        • Collaborating with our Growth team on content ideas to support our key campaigns, particularly with Paid Social
        • Reporting


          • Setting and delivering against quarterly and monthly KPIs

          • Using Sprout Social, providing weekly and monthly updates on channel health and performance
          • Sharing the latest social media trends as new features come to market
          • Regularly carry out competitive audience research to help inform content
