Yoto’s Marketing & Creative Team
Sitting within the Marketing & Creative, the Communications team is responsible for Public Relations, Influencer activations and organic Social media. The social team has a global scope looking after multiple channels across a range of platforms, with a strong focus on creative ideation and community building.
The wider Marketing & Creative team are a global team looking after brand and product marketing, acquisition and retention marketing, communications and creative, with multi-disciplinary marketing teams in key regions – the USA, UK and France. We work closely with teams across the business, particularly our friends in the product, tech and content teams.

Responsibilities:

The Senior Social Media Manager is responsible for delivering against our global social media strategy, managing output across all owned social channels in all markets and ensuring it aligns our goals and objectives. This role will work collaboratively with other areas of the Marketing team and Customer Happiness whilst nurturing and motivating the in-house social team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead the execution of the new comprehensive global social media strategy, with a focus on the UK/Global market, ensuring alignment with the overarching marketing objectives
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for social media, providing guidance and insights to regional teams, and ensuring consistency in messaging and brand voice in a social-first way across all channels
  • Guide the team to create high-quality, impactful content tailored to various social media platforms, including copywriting, graphic design using the brand’s Social Design Toolkit and Guidelines, and video production.
  • Innovate and experiment with content formats to keep the brand ahead of social media trends, ensuring relevance and appeal to target audiences.
  • Utilising Sprout platform to monitor performance metrics, providing reports and actionable insights to inform strategy adjustments and optimise campaign effectiveness.
  • Track the KPIs to measure the success of social media initiatives, driving continuous improvement.
  • Stay at the forefront of social media trends, tools, and best practices, proactively sharing insights with the global team and implementing innovative features and strategies to enhance brand engagement.
  • Hold global brainstorming sessions, campaign planning, and cross-functional collaboration to foster a culture of creativity and strategic thinking.
  • Work closely with the PR teams and the Influencer + Affiliate Coordinator to identify and nurture relationships with influencers, talent, and brand ambassadors, ensuring that partnerships align with brand values and objectives.
  • Manage organic social gifting using the Aspire platform to secure an organic pipeline of UGC.
  • Identify new like minded brand partners for social activations.
  • Significant and measurable increases in meaningful brand engagement, reach, and follower growth across all social media platforms.
  • Consistent delivery of high-quality content that resonates with target audiences and drives marketing objectives.
  • Build a collaborative and energetic team of creative socials who are excited to try new things!
