St. Paul’s CFCC is affiliated with the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital and shares close proximity and links to St. Paul’s Special School. St. Paul’s Multi-Disciplinary Team provides services to children who attend St. Paul’s Special School and support the staff that work in St. Paul’s CFCC respite services to ensure the highest of standard of care.

DESCRIPTION

The position of Senior Social Worker in St. Paul’s CFCC requires the Social Worker to link with all families of the children who attend St. Paul’s Special School. The family of children with complex needs along with the child needs supports to assist them in delivering supports to their child. The Social Worker is a key role in assisting the family to advocate their needs in order to seek these supports. Other areas that Social Work has a key role in are in Child Protection within the service, ensuring that the service complies with the Children’s First Act 2015 and other legislation.
